| On Saturday 7th May 2011 the juniors of Hartswood LTC
will take part in a fundraising event to raise money for
the MicroLoan Foundation which is a UK
based charity, providing small loans, basic business
training and continuing guidance to groups of women,
primarily in sub-Saharan Africa. The event is called the
'aroundtheworldathon', which involves the children
playing a sponsored game of tennis running from one end
of the court, hitting a ball and running to the other end
of the court. The day will this year include a BBQ, a raffle, an auction and a cake sale. This event follows on from the last year's fundraiser which raised over £2400 and we're keen to beat that this year. Please join us on the day if you can and bring some cash for a raffle ticket and to buy some cakes and drinks.
