SOS Fundraiser
This event follows on from last year's fundraiser for the Tsunami disaster appeal for which the juniors raised £1000.

| On Saturday 14 October 2006, the juniors
of Hartswood LTC took part in a fundraising event to
raise money for SOS Children orphaned to AIDS in
Africa. The event was called the 'aroundtheworldathon',
which involved running from one end of the court, hitting
a ball and running to the other end of the court. The
idea was for them to get sponsorship for the number of
times they ran 'around the world'. A turn out of
approximately 40 children particpated on the day. They
collected £1538.10. Congratulations to Dominic Bruce who
raised the highest amount of £270 and so wins the tennis
